Halloween costume fashion advice!!! plzzzzz help meeee!!?

kay well i got this reallyyy awesome dress.. its red and it has black lace alllll over it. i luv it very much.. for halloween im using that dress because im bein a devil fairy and my friends bein an angel fairy. .perfect dress, right?

well the dance is the night before halloween, and im trying to accessorize my costume (the dress, black/red fairy wings, devil horns, black boa….) when i realize that it looks very gothic/emo… not that i have anything wrong with that, i used to be sorta emo,,,, but im not anymore so i need help in making this costume less emo looking.. maybe some accessories, idk any advice i wud loveee. thankies a ton <3

If your going as a devil fairy then isn’t the point to look gothic/emo? I think it is so what the heck go for it. If you don’t wanna be emo then you shouldn’t be a “devil” fairy then call it something else. Cuz devil fairy kinda lends itself to being more gothic then not
