No where to get unique Gothic/Punk/Rock Furniture?

I have been googling for hours for some unique furniture. Specifically a dvd stand or bookshelf that has a “rock” feel. We like skulls/dragons/gargoyles, that type of thing. Does anyone know of any websites for speciality shops in Canada or the U.S where I can get some furniture like this?

If you're struggling to think of a theme for an event then here are some good ideas to get you going. Once begun, there will be to stop.

First, have a large platform of paper or a roll of lining paper and some markers. Write down every idea that comes to mind.

Second, consider the age of your guests. Some themes will work well for young children but not for pre-adolescents or adolescents. Teenagers are probably the most difficult to please. They love to look sophisticated, but it gives an opportunity to return to their own childhood favorites.

Girls themes.Tiny always fall into fairy cakes decorated with icing and candy colors go well in this type of game. Each girl may come as a different flower fairy. Dresses should not be expensive. A jersey gym clothes with tissue paper, foil and spangles bright little go a long way in transforming a multitude of girls in fairies. You can even do so at the party. Warn parents in advance so they can enter their normal clothes.

Young children are another matter. They never attend a party tale. But dinosaurs are a favorite. Cereal boxes and boxes that make excellent dinosaur masks. It is noisy and much sweeping to remove all fragile.

Preteens and teens abhor all such frivolities, so they say. A Gothic theme may go well with this group old. It is much like a fairy theme, but requires more fabric black – dress lining fabric is ideal – Icing black and green, but it is sometimes acceptable.

Magic, not necessarily to Harry Potter, but probably, and horror are good choices. Be guided by the children's favorite books when the themed party. Watch through the shelves to get some ideas.

There is a point in adolescence, when the main theme of the party has to be you're not there. This may not seem like a topic, but it is and that requires work from you. You have to make sure there is everything you need without seeming to have interfered in any way. This is probably the hardest type of game they ever have to organize. Oh, and make the emergency phone numbers are displayed in a prominent place by phone, and failing to warn the neighbors.

Some topics will cross any age gap. A pirate theme is one of them. It will be a costume party for children children or adults of any age in between. Pirates make a big issue, as it allows everyone to dress up. Both men and women, boys and girls can use more extroverted clothes and makeup. Even teenagers turn to this type of game. I guess Johnny Depp have to thank for that.

Third, think of season. A summer festival has different options for a winter party. A barbecue can work in winter, but is a sure winner in the summer.

Something related to the issue is the fourth season of anniversaries and celebrations. His party could be subject of a major event in the past, like the American Declaration of Independence. Or you could celebrate one of the lesser-known festivals.
Events in the life of a person may also become subjects for a party. If it's a birthday party then blow up the family album photos showing the different stages of that person's life. This works better with older people, but you can do for children.

In the past our ancestors used to have bees sewing and knitting circles. They meet to work on their own pieces of sewing or some joint project. This would make a great subject for an event. The techniques should be simple so that everyone could participate. But it would be possible to knit or sew a patchwork blanket in one night if enough people took part. The end result could be donated to charity or raffled for charity.

Not only we can recover the old sewing bees, but that could revitalize the increase of the barn. A group of neighbors, friends and family can gather to participate in an activity worthwhile community as a litter pick and end with a barbecue.

One final suggestion would be a communal event a sponsored walk, run or bicycling with topics on the cause that aims to raise money. Not only raise money but would raise awareness of the issue in question. You would have fun and make a difference in the community, at the same time.
