Fairy Halloween Costume Help?!?!?

Hello, this week I’m going to a Halloween dance at my school and I’ve decided to go as a ‘gothic’ fairy. I already have wings which I bought at a thrift store, but there white..so I want them to be black. I’ve checked and I have no spray paint, and I was wondering if paint would work. Just normal paint.

like tempera paint… idk how well it would stay on… try mixing all the food colorings together to make black and dying then that way… i did that when i was a gothic angel and i dyed feathers black that way…
