Teen girl books that aren’t trashy romance?

Nothing like Twilight, or the Clique, or Luxe or any of THOSE things… they’re all cliched, stupid, predictable, poorly written romance/drama (in my humble opinion)
I like things like Pride and Prejudice (I’m reading that now), Les Miserables, sort of like classic-y books, but I’m at that stage where I’m tired of reading the kids books, and the adult books are all trashy romance or murder mysteries and sex, too. I like some “modern classics” like Harry Potter, too.
Maybe something gothic (no recent vampire books because since the twilight surge they’re mostly crap), or any other good classics?
Fond of poetry like Lord Byron too.
I’m 14, by the way.
& I know I have incredibly dorky taste in literature lol, don’t make fun, I think I was born into the wrong era

The second city of the Republic of Ireland, Cork, first is Dublin.

It is built on an island, the two channels of the River Lee, which covers both sides, while nineteenth-century suburban expansion to the surrounding hills. This gives the city a center of compactness and sharp definition.

The origins of the city of Cork in the seventh century when St Finbarr founded a monastery and school at the site where the impressive nineteenth-century Gothic cathedral of St Finbarr is today. A settlement grew around the monastic foundation, overlooking a marshy swamp where the downtown is now. More recently, Cork saw much violence and suffered greatly during the Anglo Irish and civil war, the Republican cities in history is well documented in the local museum.

As part of the Republic, Cork has continued to develop as a port, a university town and cultural center and assert its independence from Dublin. In the year 2005 will European City of Culture and a major new art gallery is scheduled to open at college, probably in early 2004.

One of the joys Cork is the fact that their scale is more human than it has to offer can be explored on foot.

Cork is an ideal city for festivals, the largest and most prestigious of which are the film festival in early October and the jazz festival over one of the last two weekends of October. Theres also an international choral festival in early May, a popular festival in September and a festival of drama and dance outside in late October.

All places around for entertainment and the arts. The center alternative artistic activity is the Triskel Arts Center. It features contemporary art exhibitions, a cinema that shows art films and a program Standing concerts, DJ nights, comedy, drama, performance art and poetry readings.

Mainstream theater is Cork Opera House in Emmet Place, which placed in the high-quality drama, jazz and pop concerts, dance, opera and comedy, the Half Moon Theater attachment has a more eclectic program of drama, comedy and music and inspiration from a wide selection of major clubs, the city is more attractive clubhouse with a tremendously varied weekly list of DJs and performances in vivo.

The Granary, offers a range of small-scale theater productions, while the Firkin Crane Theater at the Institute of Choreography and Dance, Square O Connell, Shandon is the best place to catch the classical and contemporary dance. Classical music concerts are held at the School of Music, Union Quay and Town Hall.

There are plenty of good water wells in the city and if you want a drink, you do not need a guide to find a place through a two major cities pubs worth seeking out for its atmosphere. Many bars have music, traditional or otherwise. Whenever an end, this is a difficult city in which to enjoy.
