What happened to all the gothic people?

It’s not like I can tell them apart, but based on questions on here and ppl in the school its all scene or emo now. I have never seen a question on here that says “How can I dress more gothic” but I have seen at least 1000 emo or scene ones.

Three Days in Venice

Venice is a city like no other. Built on the water and slowly sinking into the sea, Venice is one of the most distinctive and iconic cities in the world. Lying in the north-eastern region of Veneto in Italy, Venice attracts families, couples and singles from across the world.

Always a popular tourist destination throughout the year, Venice is particularly beautiful in November. This is a great time of year to visit as you escape the crowds of the summer rush and hotel prices tend to be a bit cheaper to counter the drop in trade. Temperatures average at around 13 degrees Celsius, so make sure to pack some warmer clothes as you will spend a lot of time on the water. The pale winter sunshine does cast an ethereal glow over the city – making it even more romantic than usual.

Three days should be enough time to get a good taste of what this famous city has to offer – although you’ll want to stay forever. The first sight of Venice as you arrive by bus or water taxi from either Marco Polo International Airport or Treviso, is always breathtaking. Once you have settled into your hotel, your first day could be spent hopping on and off the vaporettos (water taxis) along the Venice Grand Canal. A 24 hour travel card costs around 18 Euros and lets you visits some of Venice’s most famous and beautiful sights at your own pace. Visit the Gothic Ca‘ d’Oro, a stunning palazzo along the Grand Canal that is now open to the public as a gallery after extensive restoration. Enjoy the general architecture of the city as you cruise along the canal and visit the small island of San Giorgio Maggiore, a particular highlight.

On day two visit the famous St Mark’s Square and enjoy a coffee whilst admiring the stunning city scene around you. Spend the day until a late lunch exploring the Doge’s Palace – one of Venice’s most famous buildings. In the afternoon visit Museo Corner to see some Renaissance masterpieces. The rest of the afternoon and evening can be spent wandering the streets or take a visit to the Rialto market near the famous bridge where you can buy fresh seafood and beautiful fruit and vegetables or just enjoy the buzz and sights.

Your last day in Venice could be spent at the Accademia Gallery where you can admire a beautiful collection of Venetian paintings and then catch a ferry to one of the outlying islands. Murano is famous for its glass making and the island of Burano, which attracts artists from all around because of its brightly coloured houses. Before you leave Venice and end your holiday in Italy, you must spend an evening on a gondola, which will be an unforgettable trip and a perfect way to end your last night in the city of love.
