Has anyone had a gothic or victorian theme wedding?

Would you share some pictures with me? Looking for inspiration on decorating! I’m usually so creative but I just don’t know what to do! Thanks

my fiance and i are still in the planning process, so i cant share any pictures of mine yet. sorry : (

A Gothic wedding does not necessarily have the bride dressed in black makeup, black, skulls and other horrible things everywhere – despite popular belief. Now, if that's what you want, go for it, but do not necessarily fit the "Gothic" theme. The bride could easily go out with a white dress, if that's what I would like to take. The bride could walk down the island to Metallica, but could also easily walk the aisle with the typical wedding theme. The choice is a Gothic bride.

As our Gothic bride enters the room, the dress is not the typical "Gothic" standard, by any means, but you should nonetheless. Her dress is white, covered with lace along the neckline. Our bride's hair up in a simple bread. The first Gothic difference between your wedding and other wedding is our bride is walking down the aisle to any typical love song, but our partner is strong playing one Metallica song. How strange? Not exactly.

Weddings are meant to express ourselves and our partner as we accept one another in our lives. Some brides prefer the traditional wedding, but not all do. Our Gothic bride prefers anything but traditional. Your favorite music? Metallica. Your wedding of choice? More than a romantic Gothic theme. The wedding ceremony will not take place in a traditional church. Instead, the wedding ceremony is at the center of a cathedral. Dressed to along the walls of fabric, velvet and along the ship are scattered rose petals in red, white and black. Both the ceremony and reception will be held in this room. Guests are seated around tables covered with dark red cloth. Above each of these tables are 4 small black boxes with favors Wedding surprise inside. Black velvet photo frames displaying our couple are set in the center of the tables too. Burgundy and black satin pillow sachets showing the names of the guests are around the table, including the allocation of seats to be taken later to a party gift. The wedding, despite its intended to be "Gothic" does not have to be dark and sad and chosen wedding favors can be of any type who likes gothic couple. A Gothic couple decided distribute cookie cutters heart shaped as the day of wedding favors. Another couple chose candle wedding favors with XOXO printed in black across them.

Other items ideal for favors for guests can be the heart-shaped silver corkscrew for those who enjoy a good glass of wine occasionally. Or maybe a deck of cards in the shape of a heart, or a bride and groom printed on the front which is actually two dogs. If you're a bit nervous in sharing an item to someone not like, leather photo key chains are an element that is almost perfect for any guest, a neutral element that anyone can enjoy! The fact that we are not gothic means you can not have a little fun in the process!

Remember, a wedding is above all a party, have fun, no matter what wedding theme you choose!
