Good Ideas For My Gothic Toilet Lid Decoration?

In my town we have an “Outhouse 500″ race, and we decorate a toilet seat or lid. This year was the seat, so in 2011 it will be the lid, and I want to decorate one this time. I want to do a gothic one, and have black lace around the outside of it, but I need to come up with more ideas, can someone help?

Try putting spikes around the edge of the seat. Also maybe paint the entire rim with eyeliner
